Dimple Hingu commits suicide

A  Gujarati actress and model  Dimple Hingu allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Surat. The actress  had  played lead role in two Gujarati films.

 "She was admitted to a private hospital   in not so stable condition by someone known to her. It was later  it was discovered that she had consumed poison," police said.  Her body was sent for postmortem at Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education,

She was introduced to TV and glamour world through a program called Woogi-Woogie. Dimple Hingu  was a  model  in promotion of sari and dress material products manufactured by city-based groups.  She had  featured in some video advertisements of local products.

 She made her film debut in Gujarati movie 'Rangilo Ratnakalakar' in 2006 as lead actress. She has appeared in more than 20 diffferent versions of films.  She is in lead role in  'Mota Ghare Tenu Sasaru' also. The movie is scheduled to be released in March.

She comes from  middle class back ground . Her father is a tailor and her mother a housew
ife. She has a brother studying in school.
